(The Horse and The Ass)

The Horse and The Ass

A Horse and an Ass were travelling together, the Horse prancing along in its fine trappings, the Ass carrying with difficulty the heavy weight in its panniers. "I wish I were you," sighed the Ass; "nothing to do and well fed, and all that fine harness upon you." Next day, however, there was a great battle, and the Horse was wounded to death in the final charge of the day. His friend, the Ass, happened to pass by shortly afterwards and found him on the point of death. "I was wrong," said the Ass:

"Better humble security than gilded danger."

Delta Goodrem

Doing everything that I believe in.
Going by the rules that I've been taught.
More understanding of what's around me.
And protected from the worlds of love.
All that you see is me.
And all I truly believe.
That I was born to try.
I've learned to love.
Be understanding.
And believe in life.
But you've got to make choices.
Be wrong or right.
Sometimes you've got to sacrifice the things you like.
But I was born to try.
No point in talking what should have been.
And regretting the things that went on.
Life's full of mistakes, destinies and fate.
Remove the clouds, look at the bigger picture.
And all that you see is me.
And all I truly believe.
That I was born to try.
I've learned to love.
Be understanding.

(The Lion and The Oxen)

The Lion and The Oxen

There were three oxen that have good relations in the prairie of Africa. They were always together with playing, eating grass, and sleeping. One day, when the oxen were eating grass, a lion attacked to them. Wow! They look so delicious. Three oxen were adhering each other. Moow, Turn the horns to the lion, without separating each other.
A lion could not approach even a step. Therefore, walking around the oxen, he was waiting for the chance to attack, but gave up and go away at last. If we cooperate each other, we don’t need fear to even a lion. The lion was very mortifying because he could not eat an ox.

What is the good way for it? The lion thought hard. Now I know! I cannot attack oxen because they cooperate together. I will separate them and eat them one by one. Lion came to the prairie in which oxen are present. Good. Look! All of them are eating grass, parted
The lion approached the red ox and said with the easy voice. Mr. red, I was defeated by the power of you all. I never attack any longer. By the way, who is the strongest ox in you all? All three of us are as strong. The red ox answered. Really? The others had not said such a thing.
The red ox being surprised, the red ox asked. What did they say? The lion said. The black ox there said that he is the strongest one, and if he was not here, the red and the brown had been eaten by a lion already. What? Did he say such a awful thing? The red ox had got angry very much.
Finally, the lion went to this place, after the black bull was deceived, Did you hear it? The black ox said that he have protected you two by only himself, and you are weakling and not useful. Moow! I’ve got angry! The lion was pleased to deceive the oxen well.
Now in the prairie, oxen started fighting. In the beginning, the black ox shouted. We will decide by duel, about the strongest ox in us. Red ox said, too. I wont be defeated by you. Come on! is also angry furiously. The strongest is me. Three oxen began to fight, jabbing their horn.
Moow ! Moow! Three animals have been bloody, pierced by horns of each other. They are already wholly unconscious. Moow. I cant be with you any longer. The oxen which had good relations got separate. The lion was pleased!, and he attacked one by one, and ate steaks of them in three days.

(The Lion and The Oxen)
There were three oxen who have good relations in the prairie of Africa.

Moow! Ive got angry!

The Fox and The Cat

A fox was boasting to a cat of its clever devices for escaping its enemies. "I have a whole bag of tricks," he said, "which contains a hundred ways of escaping my enemies."

"I have only one," said the cat; "but I can generally manage with that." Just at that moment they heard the cry of a pack of hounds coming towards them, and the cat immediately scampered up a tree and hid herself in the boughs. "This is my plan," said the cat. "What are you going to do?"

The fox thought first of one way, then of another, and while he was debating the hounds came nearer and nearer, and at last the fox in his confusion was caught up by the hounds and soon killed by the huntsmen. Miss Puss, who had been looking on, said:

(The Rat and The Frog)

The Rat and The Frog
One day, a country rat wanted to go to town. He prepared himself and started his journey. It was hot on the way. So the rat was tired and thirsty. He then stopped near a big pond...to drink water for refreshing himself...and to find some fruits to eat. Near that pond, there lived a frog. When the rat saw the frog, he walked straight towards him. He forced the frog to take him to the other side of the pond. But the frog refused. The rat beat up the frog badly. So the frog had to give up and agreed to take him across the pond. The rat was afraid that the frog might leave him in the middle of the pond, so he tied his leg with the frog's leg.

When they were in the middle of the pond, the frog stoped swimming, wanting the rat to drown. The rat tried to swim to save himself from drowning while the frog looked on with satisfaction. Meanwhile, there was a hawk flying by the pond and saw the two animals. The hawk grabbed both of them for his meal.

“Anyone who has bad intention will always suffer bad results.”
