THE
FOX and the Leopard disputed which was the more beautiful of the two. The
Leopard exhibited one by one the various spots which decorated his skin.
But
the Fox, interrupting him, said, “And how much more beautiful than you am I,
who am decorated, not in body, but in mind.”
“People
are not to be judged by their coats.”

THE

สุนัขจิ้งจอกกับเสือดาวถกเถียงกันว่าใครเป็นผู้ที่สง่างามกว่ากัน
The

เสือดาวแสดงจุดมากมายที่ตกแต่งบนผิวของมันทีละจุด
But
the Fox, interrupting him, said, “And how much more beautiful than you am I,

แต่สุนัขจิ้งจอกเอ๋ยแย้งเจ้าเสือดาวว่า “ข้าสง่างามกว่าเจ้าเพียงไหนน่ะหรือ สิ่งที่ข้าถูกตกแต่งนั้นไม่ใช่ร่างกาย
หากแต่เป็นภายในจิตใจ”
นิทานเรื่องนี้สอนให้รู้ว่า
“People
are not to be judged by their coats.”
“ไม่ควรตัดสินคนจากสิ่งที่เห็นภายนอก”
